Supporting Families. Serving With Compassion.
At CASO, we walk alongside families in some of their most vulnerable moments. Whether a child has just entered care or a caregiver is feeling the weight of the journey, our services are designed to ease the burden and remind families they’re not alone.
Our Foster Care Closet provides free access to:
Often times foster children enter foster care with just the clothes on their backs and shoes on their feet, and sometimes not even that. Each child has an opportunity to come to the CASO Closet to choose 5 outfits, 5 new socks, 5 new underwear, shoes, blanket, bedding, winter or summer gear, books, new hygiene items and a brand new toy. All of these items go into a suitcase, not a big black garbage bag. They also get to pick a frozen meal to bring to their foster family! The CASO Closet also has larger items such as beds, cribs, dressers, baby equipment, bikes, etc.
